At your first appointment, a careful, gentle and complete periodontal examination including a visual cancer screening exam will be done. If no current x-rays are available from your general dentist, full mouth x-rays will be taken during this appointment. Your condition will be diagnosed, and then all treatment options, including fees will be discussed with you.
The doctors gladly welcome your questions, so that they can provide the most personalized care for you. The initial appointment lasts approximately 1 hour, and any necessary appointments for treatment will be scheduled following your examination. Please bring with you at the initial visit the following information:
Except for emergency situations, you can expect us to be prompt and we will appreciate this same courtesy. If this first or subsequent appointment requires rescheduling, please give us 48 hours notice. Our surgical appointment requires 72 hours (emergencies are an exception) so that the time may be utilized by another patient.
